Agreement

These terms apply when you access or use TempoTally, a browser-based tool operated by Aurelian Syndicate. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What the tool provides

TempoTally estimates BPM from taps, calculates related timing values, stores local setlists, and may provide metronome, count-in, print, backup, import, export, sharing, installation, and offline features. Browser capabilities vary, and some enhancements may be unavailable on a particular device.

No accuracy or availability guarantee

BPM results depend on your tapping, the source material, device input behavior, browser scheduling, and musical interpretation. Half-time and double-time readings may both be reasonable. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or fitness for a particular performance, recording, educational, commercial, or safety-critical purpose.

Protect your hearing and verify important cues before a live performance. TempoTally is not a calibrated timing or audio measurement instrument.

Your content and backups

You retain responsibility for song names, notes, setlists, and files you create or import. Local browser data can be removed by browser settings, private-browsing behavior, storage limits, site updates, or device changes. You are responsible for exporting backups you need.

Do not import or share material unless you have the right to use it. TempoTally does not grant rights to music, lyrics, recordings, or other third-party content.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, overwhelm the service, misrepresent TempoTally, or use the site in violation of applicable law. You may use ordinary browser functions and exported output for personal, rehearsal, teaching, and performance workflows.

Site materials

The TempoTally name, interface, explanatory copy, visual design, and site code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership. You may link to the site and use its normal tool output, but you may not present the service as your own or reuse branded materials without permission.

Advertising and outside services

The site may include clearly identified advertising, affiliate links, or links to third-party services. TempoTally is not responsible for outside products, availability, content, privacy practices, pricing, or transactions. An affiliate commission does not increase the price charged by the seller.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurelian Syndicate and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, missed cues, lost profits, or performance interruption arising from use of or inability to use TempoTally. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
